My initial (poor) opinion on politics

Up until recently, my interest in politics was close to zero. It was a field I didn’t grasp, nor did I try to. For me, politics was easy to summarize: “all a bunch of thieves looking forward to sitting on the ‘throne of power’ and stealing from us every way they could” (which, to a degree, isn’t necessarily a lie, even to this day).

My (purposeful) abstention

When I became an adult, and despite being eligible, I wouldn’t even bother voting, firstly because I didn’t understand what was going on, secondly because I believed “a single vote wouldn’t make a difference anyway”, and thirdly as a form of protest, as if my abstention served as a message of “when you stop being all a bunch of thieves and began worrying with the people, then I’ll start exercising my right”.

The apolitical

I considered myself “apolitical”, even because I thought some of my views were more aligned with the right (such as, for instance, the support for a free market) while others were normally more associated with the left (like the promotion of ecology), which left – no pun intended – me confused.

My studies on the leftist phenomenon

Enter the “red pill”

Things began to change, curiously, once I got in contact with the manosphere and the so-called “red pill philosophy”, as I started realizing there was a somewhat unfounded hostility against the manosphere coming from modern feminism, which made me study the latter a bit more and conclude it had nothing to do with gender equality any longer but rather female supremacy and the attempt to emasculate men.

My study (and rejection) of the “Woke” movement

That was the first “red flag” I noticed about the liberal left, but it didn’t take long before I started investigating the other movements normally attracting those feminists as well, such as “#MeToo” (which seems to forget that women also lie, quite a lot in fact), “Black Lives Matter” (which, similarly to feminism regarding gender, is nothing more than a black supremacist movement), environmentalism (a movement whose real agenda is fighting against capitalism masked as “ecology”), the support of unregulated and uncontrolled immigration (quite an irony when this comes from feminism, especially when we’re talking about Islamic immigration, for obvious reasons), abortion as a contraceptive method, gender ideology, “alternative” family models, globalism, multiculturalism, and all other “-isms” that, together, form the so-called “Woke” ideology, which I immediately began rejecting the more I studied such a phenomenon.

My study (and rejection) of economic leftism

Besides the social component, I ended up studying deeply the economic one as well, and quickly became more knowledgeable about the economic philosophies the left defends so vehemently (especially socialism and communism), which left – no pun intended again – me wondering even more how can someone support such regimes, with the only thing they’ve done throughout History being increasing poverty, misery, hunger… and pilled corpses.

Becoming a right-wing populist

Whether we like it or not, politics – similarly to medicines when we’re sick – is a “necessary evil” we should worry about. I began paying more attention to the political scenario of my country and to how our corrupt left has been trying to dominate the system for 50+ years. For this reason, I finally started voting, and my vote goes to the right-wing party I consider the most “anti-system” of them all: CHEGA!, often called “far-right”, “fascist” – and even “nazi”! – by either clueless or simply intellectually dishonest leftists who’re still terrified by the “ghost of Salazar“, or whatever their problem seems to be…
